As the energy industry continues to diversify the global energy portfolio, the AIEN Nuclear Taskforce was created to evaluate to define where and how AIEN can add value in the broader energy industry. Its work is ongoing to identify the risks, scope potential model contracts and/or term sheets and provide resources to add value for AIEN members. The Taskforce has prepared a whitepaper that explains the international nuclear liability framework, its core legal principles, and how those principles are implemented in selected national systems. It is written for energy professionals familiar with large infrastructure projects but new to nuclear energy.
