Gender equality in the energy sector continues to spark important discussion and debate. Join our Women Negotiators Group for a live webinar that will cut through the noise and provide meaningful insights into gender equality in the workplace.
Aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 5 (SDG 5) — achieving gender equality and empowering all women and girls — this session will explore how the energy sector can help drive meaningful and lasting change across the global workforce.
Our featured speakers work at the intersection of gender and energy — from a UN refugee agency integrating clean energy into humanitarian operations, to one of India’s largest state-owned energy companies, to an IEEE engineering body advancing women’s leadership across Southeast Asia.
This session will move through three key stages: what gendered energy inequality looks like in practice, which interventions have made a measurable impact (and deserve greater recognition), and what barriers continue to stand in the way of lasting progress.
Rather than focusing on theory alone, the discussion will center on real-world experiences, practical solutions, trade-offs, and what comes next for the future of gender equality in the energy sector.
