Bryan Clark, Partner, Bracewell LLP
Bryan Clark represents clients in commercial matters across the oil and gas midstream sector as well as commercial and regulatory matters in the electric industry for generators and consumers in multiple jurisdictions. As managing associate general counsel at Pioneer Natural Resources USA, Inc. from 2012 to 2024, he has a strong commercial and regulatory understanding of marketing and midstream matters involving crude oil, natural gas and natural gas liquids, as well as electricity matters involving distribution, transmission and purchasing. He also has extensive commercial and regulatory experience with various oil and gas midstream contracts, including processing, gathering, interconnections, and transportation service agreements as well as power purchase agreements and facilities extension and other types of interconnection agreements with electric utilities and other electric transmission and distribution providers.

At Pioneer, Bryan served as the company’s primary midstream counsel and as its lead counsel on energy transition matters, including wind and solar development. He also advised Pioneer’s board of directors, executive management and senior officers on matters involving complex commercial transactions, federal and state regulations, litigation and the global energy transition.

Philip Son, Senior Counsel, Fervo Energy
Philip Son serves as Senior Counsel at Fervo Energy, bringing extensive experience in energy project development, commercial transactions, and EPC contracting.

Throughout his career, he has led legal support for major international energy projects in renewable energy, LNG, and petrochemicals. Prior to Fervo Energy, Philip held senior legal roles at BP, ITT Inc., Lotte Chemical USA, and Hyundai Heavy Industries.

He holds a J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan
