Borja López-Bravo Yarte is Executive Director-Head of Energy and Oil & Gas in Santander Mexico since 2017. He has participated in the structuring of energy and infrastructure projects in Latin America, mainly in Mexico, Peru, Colombia and Chile for a debt amount exceeding USD 9 Bn. Previously, Borja worked 7 years at BBVA as Director of Energy and Infrastructure and 5 years at Banco Popular Español in Corporate & Acquisition Finance, where he originated, structured and executed deals for an amount exceeding USD 2 bn. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the Colegio Universitario de Estudios Financieros (CUNEF) of Madrid and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Bill Hart is a Banking & Finance partner in Mayer Brown's Houston office. He is also a Key Member of the firm’s high yield debt practice. Bill has broad financial experience representing major banks, underwriters, borrowers and issuers in such matters as placement of high-yield debt securities, project finance, large syndicated bank transactions, oil and gas financings, asset-based financings and acquisition financings. He has industry-specific financing experience in the areas of oil and gas and chemicals. Prior to joining Mayer Brown in 2012, Bill was a partner at another prominent Houston law firm.

Ariel Ramos is a partner in Mayer Brown's global Energy group and Banking & Finance practice and is based in the firm's Mexico City office. Ariel primarily focuses on transactions related to power, oil and gas, finance, energy-related infrastructure, EPC, and Mexican energy reform, including Round One and procurement matters.  Ariel provides advice to international oil companies, Mexican oil service companies, developers and sponsors, financial institutions, investment bankers and private equity funds, construction companies and governmental entities on projects, cross border transactions and financings. He assists clients in the structuring, negotiations and implementation of projects, risk assessment, regulatory advice, and governmental contracts, including E&P contracts (including purchase sale agreements and licenses), contracts with Pemex and its subsidiaries, power purchase agreements (PPA), long-term service contracts (CPS), public-private partnerships (PPP), public financed works (OPF), engineering, procurement and construction contracts (EPC), operation and maintenance contracts (O&M), and fuel and gas supply and transportation agreements. He has advised on design and implementation of schemes for the development and financing of infrastructure projects, including preparation of financing and security agreements; performed analysis of permits and governmental authorizations required for the development of projects and real estate transactions; and on the preparation of bid proposals and the bid process.
