Gonzalo Cabrera, Founder and CEO, Wave Transition

Over 30 years in the energy industry, including 23 years dedicated to LNG, Gonzalo Cabrera has led commercial growth, international expansion and business transformation across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Latin America.

Throughout his career, he has consistently been entrusted with building businesses, opening new markets and leading organizations through periods of growth, transformation and increasing complexity. His executive experience spans leadership positions with Eni, QatarEnergy LNG (formerly Qatargas), Anadarko Petroleum, TotalEnergies, and today as Founder & Chief Executive Officer of WaveTransition.

Today, Gonzalo focuses on helping organizations create long-term commercial value by defining strategic direction, developing high-performing leadership teams and aligning shareholders, governments, customers and investors behind a common commercial vision. His leadership combines commercial discipline, international perspective and the ability to simplify complexity into sustainable business opportunities.

Greeshma Gadikota, Lenfest Earth Institute Professor of Climate Change, Columbia University
Dr. Greeshma Gadikota is the Lenfest Earth Institute Professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental Engineering and Director of the Lenfest Center for Sustainable Energy at Columbia University. Dr. Gadikota directs the Sustainable Energy and Resource Recovery Group. She served on the faculty at Cornell University, held postdoctoral research associate appointments at Princeton University and Columbia University, and a research associate appointment at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Her PhD in Chemical Engineering and MS degrees in Chemical Engineering and Operations Research are from Columbia University. Her BS in Chemical Engineering is from Michigan State University. Her scientific contributions are recognized by the DOE, NSF and ARO CAREER Awards, Sigma Xi Young Investigator Award, Cornell Engineering Research Excellence Award, Inaugural Cornell Rising Women Innovator Award, AICHE Sabic Award for Young Professionals, and ACS Women’s Chemists Committee (WCC) Rising Star Award to list a few notable recognitions.

Oliver Oxenbridge, Director, Ophiolite Energy
Oliver has 15 years of international energy industry experience spanning executive leadership, corporate development and investment banking. Oliver is co-founder and director of Ophiolite Energy, a natural hydrogen exploration company pursuing hydrogen production from ultramafic rock formations, with a focus on the Philippines.

Previously Oliver was founding Managing Director of ASX-listed Top End Energy, focused on the exploration of natural gas, hydrogen and helium in Australia. He has also held corporate development and investment roles at Woodside Energy, Waha Capital and Ophir Energy with experience spanning large and mid-cap M&A and portfolio management. Oliver began his career at Evercore Partners in London.

Oliver holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Veronica Vaca, Strategic Planning, Grupo Cobra
Veronica Vaca is an energy finance and strategy executive with more than 20 years of international experience across upstream oil and gas, hydrogen, CCUS, and energy transition investments in the Americas and Europe. Her expertise spans economic and financial modeling, strategic M&A, capital allocation, and the commercialization of emerging energy technologies.

She currently serves as Co-Chair of AIEN’s Geologic Hydrogen White Paper initiative, contributing to the development of commercial and investment frameworks for this emerging sector. Her work in geologic hydrogen includes project evaluation, joint venture structuring, Levelized Cost of Hydrogen (LCOH) modeling, and carbon intensity assessment. She has also authored and co-authored technical work on carbon intensity certification for geologic hydrogen and frameworks for evaluating its potential application in aviation. 

Throughout her career, Veronica has led and supported the evaluation of multi-billion-dollar energy portfolios and transactions, with experience at Cobra Industrial Activities, Shell, BG Group, and Baker Hughes.
