Over 30 years in the energy industry, including 23 years dedicated to LNG, Gonzalo Cabrera has led commercial growth, international expansion and business transformation across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Latin America.

Throughout his career, he has consistently been entrusted with building businesses, opening new markets and leading organizations through periods of growth, transformation and increasing complexity. His executive experience spans leadership positions with Eni, QatarEnergy LNG (formerly Qatargas), Anadarko Petroleum, TotalEnergies, and today as Founder & Chief Executive Officer of WaveTransition.

Today, Gonzalo focuses on helping organizations create long-term commercial value by defining strategic direction, developing high-performing leadership teams and aligning shareholders, governments, customers and investors behind a common commercial vision. His leadership combines commercial discipline, international perspective and the ability to simplify complexity into sustainable business opportunities.
