Mexico’s energy sector is undergoing a dramatic transformation following a constitutional reform in November 2024 and the enactment of implementing legislation in March 2025. These changes reinforce state control over electricity and hydrocarbons, prioritize the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) and PEMEX, and centralize regulatory oversight under the newly formed National Energy Commission.

Join us for this breakfast panel discussion that will explore the legal and strategic implications of these reforms for energy investors, with a focus on risk mitigation, new investment models, contractual structuring, and dispute resolution mechanisms. Attendees will gain insights into navigating the evolving regulatory landscape and identifying viable investment pathways and opportunities within a state-controlled framework that promotes diversified investment and relies on collaboration between the government and the private sector.

Breakfast will be provided. Registration is $15 for members, $30 for non-members and $10 for student members. Please register at the link to the right by October 13.
