Giovani focuses his practice on energy, oil & gas, and in particular, on merger and acquisition transactions, financing and regulatory issues involving these industries. He previously worked at the Houston office of Fulbright and Jaworski LLP (now Norton Rose Fulbright). Licensed to practice law in Brazil, England and New York, Giovani is a founding partner and chairman of the Brazilian Institute of Energy Law Studies (IBDE), a former chairman of the Oil & Gas Law Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA), and member of the executive committee of the Association of International Energy Negotiators (AIEN).

Marilda Rosado, SjD., is Associate Professor of International Law at Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), lecturer on “Private International Law” for the Bachelor of Laws Program and Coordinator of the MBA in Law and Business of Petroleum.
