AIEN's Japan Sub-Chapter is developing a four-part seminar series on carbon capture and storage (CCS), with a focus on cross-border CCS between Japan and Asia Pacific countries. The series will examine the commercial and legal issues facing companies involved in this cross-border value chain, including emitters, capture companies, aggregators, transporters, and CO2 storage providers in Japan and abroad.

Join our Japan Sub-Chapter for the first session of its seminar series, featuring an update on the CCS landscape in Japan and selected Asia Pacific countries, including major projects, legislative and regulatory frameworks, and international agreements relevant to CCS activities. It also will include an update regarding the AIEN Model Offtake Agreement.

Speakers will deliver presentations in their native language (English or Japanese), and projected materials will be presented in Japanese and English.

Food and drinks will be served during the networking reception following the presentations.

This in-person event is complimentary for members and non-members. Please register at the link to the right by November 6 or click here to register.
