Brett Cohen, Partner, Clifford Chance
Brett has over 20 years of experience advising on transactions and projects in the energy, resources and infrastructure sectors.  He has a diverse practice, advising on acquisitions and divestments, cross-border investment, foreign investment regulation, project development, joint ventures and commodity/utility supply arrangements.  Brett has particular expertise advising on complex, cross-border petroleum and mining project related transactions.


Rebecca Davie, Counsel, Clifford Chance
Rebecca has deep experience in environment and planning law. She is a trusted advisor on major development, infrastructure and energy projects in Australia. Her background in environmental science and project management positions her to deliver unique, commercially-minded legal solutions for clients. Rebecca advises on the full range of environment and planning issues, including: approvals, environmental incidents, transactions, regulatory notices and litigious matters. She is recognised for delivering practical, strategic solutions on complex, first-of-kind projects.


Will Pulsford, APAC Advisory Manager, Poten & Partners
Will is responsible for Poten’s Asia Pacific advisory business which is delivered from offices in Perth and Singapore. He has deep expertise in the development of integrated LNG export and import projects and has provided due diligence, commercial and market advice to owners, developers, financiers and regulators worldwide on the development of gas and LNG supply chains.


Elizabeth Richmond, Partner, Clifford Chance
Elizabeth practices competition and consumer protection law and has extensive litigation experience in these areas. Admitted in both Australia and New Zealand, Elizabeth has experience as a practicing solicitor in both jurisdictions in relation to competition advice, mergers and in particular, high-profile litigation (particularly for cartel conduct). She has also been involved in proceedings against the ACCC in relation to contested mergers. She provides advice on regulatory compliance and enforcement, contested issues, mergers and acquisitions and commercial agreements.


Peter McNally, Managing Counsel, Chevron
Peter McNally is Managing Counsel for Chevron Australia, based in Perth, Western Australia.

Since 2021, he has been a member of the Chevron Australia leadership team, responsible for legal support across the company’s upstream activities, including the Gorgon and Wheatstone natural gas developments. Together, these projects account for approximately 6.5% of global LNG supply and deliver around 40% of Western Australia’s domestic gas needs. He leads Chevron Australia’s legal function for upstream operations, providing strategic advice on major projects, regulatory matters, and commercial risk.

Peter joined Chevron Australia in 2006 and has supported a broad range of upstream business activities. He also served as Law Manager in Chengdu, China, from 2017 to 2021.

Prior to Chevron, Peter worked at Woodside Energy Ltd and a leading national law firm.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry and Extractive Metallurgy) from Murdoch University.
