Violeta Kelly has over 18 years of debt financing experience, specialising in domestic and international capital markets, and sustainability financing. Violeta has been involved in the sustainability finance market since its inception in 2011, having structured Australia’s first offshore corporate green bond in 2014.

Violeta’s ESG finance advisory experience includes structuring and execution of green/social/sustainable and sustainability linked transactions. Prior to joining Grant Samuel in 2022 where she works with corporate clients across multiple industry sectors, Violeta was a Director at MUFG across debt capital markets and ESG finance, and prior to that at HSBC (debt capital markets) and Westpac (structured and asset finance).

Simon Currie has more than 25 years of experience advising on the development, acquisition and financing of assets in the energy sector globally.

Noted as “one of the most well-connected in the energy industry”, Simon has worked on ground-breaking and innovative transactions in over 75 countries and has experience across the energy value chain, ranging from upstream oil and gas to electricity and gas transmission and distribution. Prior to founding Energy Estate, Simon was Global Head of Energy at Norton Rose Fulbright.
