Claudia Zacour

Claudia Zacour is General Manager, Gas and Energy Transition – Equity Investments and M&A Post-Closing Transactions at Petrobras.

 

Claudia is a lawyer specialized in the energy sector, holding postgraduate degrees in Petroleum from COPPEAD/UFRJ and Business Law from Universidade Candido Mendes. She began her career in law firms and the capital market. At Petrobras, she managed the Exploration and Production legal department, the Mergers and Acquisitions legal department, and later the Mergers and Acquisitions business department, overseeing the divestments portfolio and relations with governmental entities. In December 2019, Claudia became head of Corporate Governance at Petrobras. Since 2024, she has been managing the company’s equity investments in gas and energy transition assets, as well as the post-closing area of gas and energy M&A transactions.

 

Claudia is a longtime member of AIEN and former Board Member. She currently serves as the Latin America Chapter Alternate Regional Director and is a Co-Chair for AIEN’s 2025 NOC Conference in London.
