The AIEN Valuation Workshop offers a combination of theoretical knowledge with hands-on know-how of asset valuation and decision analysis by utilizing a series of problem-solving assignments and case studies.
This interactive workshop is designed for professionals with diverse legal, technical and commercial backgrounds who are seeking insight into valuation techniques and decision strategies. While the workshop will include modules on economic models and discounted cash flow analysis, prospective attendees who feel they would benefit prior to attending from a basic understanding of cash flows should contact the AIEN and self-instructed pre-course modules covering this can be made available. The workshop is also a fantastic forum to network with like-minded peers in the industry.
Classroom size is limited to 30 people. This is a basic course that requires very little numeracy but is filled with real-world examples and exercises.
After completion, attendees should have a very good appreciation of valuation methodologies, project cashflow analysis the basics of economic models, decision-making tools and metrics and the different fiscal systems applied across the oil and gas business.
