Offshore decommissioning liability presents a massive risk and expense to operators in the US and internationally. Recent cases in the US has caused substantial P&A obligations to revert back to predecessors in interest, causing companies to rethink their decommissioning strategies. Our speakers will discuss some of the latest trends and challenges as E&P companies consider projects near the end of life. The discussion will include an analysis of the recently issued Bureau of Ocean Energy Management Financial Assurance final rule and strategies to manage unanticipated decommissioning liability obligations.

Lunch will be provided. Registration is $25 for members, $45 for non-members, and $15 for student-members. Please register at the link to the right by May 29. Onsite registrations will be accepted as space permits.
