Over the past few years, President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador’s administration has sought to reform the private energy industry through a series of proposed constitutional amendments, regulatory changes, and administrative enforcement actions.  These changes have been felt across the industry, with a particular emphasis on the power and natural gas sectors.

This presentation will address:

  • The current state of play
  • What the administration is trying to achieve
  • Potential consequences of the government’s action
  • Legal considerations for protecting and enforcing legal rights for those entities operating and holding investments in the affected sectors

This event is in-person only and limited to the first 30 registrants. Registration is complimentary for members and $20 for non-members.
