Over the past few years, President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador’s administration has sought to reform the private energy industry through a series of proposed constitutional amendments, regulatory changes, and administrative enforcement actions.  These changes have been felt across the industry, with a particular emphasis on the power and natural gas sectors.
