The panelists will address the following areas during the event:

  • Commercial structuring considerations arising for CCS projects;
  • International and comparative regulatory aspects for CCS projects in the Asia-Pacific region, including:
    • Transboundary movement of GHGs and the international legal aspects of potential relevance to such movement, including the London Protocol, the Basel Convention and the Paris Agreement; and
    • Recent regulatory developments on CCS regulation in the Asia-Pacific region, including recent developments concerning the generation of carbon credits for CCS projects in Australia.

A Q&A session will be moderated by Sally Audeyev at the conclusion of the panel discussion.
