As mentioned in the Harvard Business Review, blockchain is “an open, distributed, ledger that can record transactions between two parties efficiently and in a verifiable and permanent way”. The use of blockchain technology is supposed to result in a robust workflow where participants' uncertainty regarding data security is marginal. The presentation will discuss the use of blockchains and how its application can contribute to achieving the risks mitigation goal.
