President’s Award

Mike Beirne

The President’s Award recognizes members who have exemplified excellent leadership and dedication to the AIPN’s mission of providing the highest quality service and value to its members as well as enhancing the effectiveness and professionalism of the international energy community. This year’s honor goes to Mike Beirne. Mike’s role as Vice President of Conferences all but evaporated mid-last year due to the cancellation of our conferences, or so we thought. Mike was not deterred by this obstacle and he quickly took the reins of the new Online Content Taskforce as we pivoted our content offerings to online formats. Mike also made sure we kept our conference plans alive by guiding our efforts to re-schedule the Bangkok IPS and other programs. Thank you, Mike, for your leadership and dedication to the AIPN!
